We Appreciate Your Donations
We really wish we didn’t need to ask for your help or support, but unfortunately, we do.
On average, teachers in North Texas spend, on average, a whopping $600 a year on their students. This comes from their own salary! We don’t think it is right, but there is not much we can do to change the system. So how can we help? We ask for supply and material, as well as monetary donations and then give it to our teachers.
So where do your monetary donations go?
It allows us to purchase needed supplies and materials that are not being donated (Hand sanitizer, Kleenex, paper towels)
It allows us to purchase special requested curriculum items that schools will not fund (School books, art and science supplies)
It covers our small overhead expenses (Insurance, website, email…etc)
Teachers’ Pantry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; all donations are tax-deductible – Please see your tax professional for more details
